Being part of the lnchcape group, we are the leading independent retailer of a wide range of automobile models worldwide. In Brunei, NBT carries the prestigious Toyota and Lexus brands. We are currently seeking a highly qualified person to join our team as:

Reporting to Senior General Manager Finance, the person shall be responsible for the following:
• Managing the full set of accounts for NBT
• Negotiating for best terms and commission rate for finance and insurance business
• Timely reporting and accuracy of the financial accounts
• Ensure adherence to Group and local policy/procedure. Initiate procedure changes where appropriate
• Ensure key priorities, profit targets, working capital and overheads are achieved through proper planning, constant reviews and excellent communication
• Establish Business Partnering with Head of Divisions
• Ensure compliance of and implement effective internal control systems
• Management of strategic planning, annual operating plan, monthly rolling forecast
• Analyze and interpret operating results, government announcements & competitors’ information
• Handle tax compliance matters and tax planning
• Provide support in infrastructure projects which include financial modelling and ROl
• Review and ensure capital expenditure within budget
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and other service providers such as legal andcorporate advisers
• Responsible for cash management and reporting
Requirements:
• Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent, preferably a member of ICPAS with least 5 years of accounting experiences in a managerial capacity
• Possess strong knowledge of Brunei statutory requirements and accounting standards
• Prior experience in the automotive industry is optional
• Hands on leader with positive attitude, excellent communication skills and a proven track record of success as a business partner
• Good team player and self-motivated
• Prior ERP system exposure and internal control experience are essential
• Leadership role within steering committee to implement new ERP and associated processes

The ideal candidate must have good business acumen and able to think strategically and creatively to resolve issues together with strong people leadership skills.
