We are looking for enthusiatic and dynamic individuals with career ambition to join our team for the following position:
Translator.
Responsibilities:
• Ability to rewrite news material and speeches from Bahasa Melayu to English or vice versa while ensuring the meaning of the content is maintained
• Ability to facilitate communication effectively & appropriately by researching the subject matter &. understanding the thoughts expressed
• Proofreading and editing final translated versions
• Willing to work under pressure & meet deadlines
Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any field
• Excellent command of English & Bahasa Melayu (Knowledge of any other language is an added bonus)
• Knowledge of media production and dissemination techniques and methods
• IT literate
• Working experience of at least 2 years, familiar with financial terms and government protocols.
• Availability to start work in March 2012
